New resources now available for partners and customers

FARGO, ND – August 2013 – eOne is officially “re-launching” Extender under the eOne brand after reclaiming all product responsibilities from Microsoft. Martin Olsen, Director, explains “This is the best of both worlds. Microsoft is acutely aware of how Extender differentiates Dynamics GP in the market and are actively helping us market Extender. We have been able to revamp and re-energize Extender together will all our sales, support and implementation resources – without the constraints of Microsoft internal controls.

Extender is the tool that continues to set Microsoft Dynamics GP apart from all other mid-market ERP products. Extender provides the no code, low cost way of making your ERP fit your specific business needs, which is exactly the flexibility a mid market customer is looking for. Under eOne’s development and distribution model, customers, partners and prospects can expect vast improvements.

Late in 2012, eOne encouraged Microsoft to pass the sales and distribution of the Extender product, originally developed by eOne, back to eOne. This move allows eOne to greatly enhance the product, provide new features and functionality, and distribute new resources to partners and customers alike.

eOne Director and Owner, Martin Olsen, commented on the transition, “it is truly exciting to have Extender back in house. It is one of the most positive steps we could have taken to better serve the channel. We’re now rolling out new features and resources for customers and partners over the next three months – it just makes sense for everyone involved for Extender to be back with eOne.”

Current customers can expect features to be added to the product at a faster rate than they’ve seen in the past. New features include:
  • A Simplified Interface
  • Web Client Support
  • Improved Table Structure for Faster Performance
  • Addition of Solution Management
  • Addition of Simple Logic
  • Calculated Fields (SQL)
In an effort to further serve Extender customers, eOne is also offering various training classes at a reduced price, including 2 hour online sessions and full day, classroom training in Fargo, ND in September and in Tampa, FL in October. Visit eOne’s events page to sign up or reach out to sales@eonesolutions.com to receive additional details.

Beyond training and support, expect to see a massive amount of resources released over the next three months through the eOne website including Lunch & Learn opportunities (see events page), blog series on Demystifying Extender, new case studies, updated FAQs, demo templates, demo videos, partner sales kits (request from sales@eonesolutions.com), an Extender product road map, self-paced learning opportunities, and much more.

Olsen continued, saying “we’ve pulled out all stops to ensure our partners have the resources they need and can get excited about where Extender is headed. As we listen to customer feedback, we keep making improvements. Extender has come a long way since its release in 2003 and is has greatly improved since then. If you’ve not looked at Extender for a while, it’s time to check it out.”
