Generally, what is Field Service?
Field service refers to coordination of field operations and entails scheduling service orders, dispatching agents, tracking jobs and vehicle statuses. Think of the scenario where your furnace stops working. (Here in Fargo, for most of the year that is a very bad thing!) You call your home heating company about the issue.
