SmartView has a great feature to give you a Receivables Aged Trial Balance as well as a Payables Aged Trial Balance. If you are unfamiliar with this feature, you can find more information on it here.

The one big question we get on these lists is if they can be modified in SmartList Builder. These lists allow you to select the aging date as well as give you expandable detail options. Because of this, they had to be built differently to work in SmartView and cannot be modified in SmartList Builder.
To help with this, we have created templates that can be imported into SmartList Builder for the Payables and Receivables Aged Trial Balance lists. We have created one for a Summary List as well as one for Detail. The big difference between these lists and the default one in SmartView is that you cannot select an aging date in the SmartList Builder built one. It will always age as of the actual date you run it on and what is currently in Microsoft Dynamics GP.
If these templates interest you, you can import them into SmartList Builder by going to Microsoft Dynamics GP – Tools – SmartList Builder – Import. From there, you will select the Import from Web tab, select the Product of Microsoft Dynamics GP, and the Series of Sales or Purchasing. From there, you can select the lists you want to import and click the Import button. You will see that the lists are available for Excel Report Builder and Navigation List Builder as well.
