The Popdock Gateways are basically web services installed locally as the “middlemen”. The Popdock app safely communicates with the gateway using encryption via SSL. The gateway serves as a web service locally to query your on-premise systems.
The Data Gateways allow secure access to on-premise data. Popdock will receive access to your on-premise data enabling other applications to use this information without compromising the SQL Server where the data resides. This gives you all the power and control you need to ensure the right people at your organization have access to the right data.
