We are happy to welcome Raymond Porter to the eOne team! Raymond is a programmer who will be working out of our Austin, TX office. You’ll definitely interact with him in the upcoming months, but in the meantime – take a few moments to get to know him a little bit more.
Q: Do you have any fun projects that you’ve worked on before coming to eOne?
Before coming to eOne, I was producing bicycle races. I’ve spent the past year working with other race promoters to implement and standardize RFID chip timing for bicycle races in Texas. I also recently graduated from Texas State University with a degree in applied math.
Q: What are you passionate about outside of work?
I like riding my bike.
Q: What’s on your bucket list?
To ride my bike 200 miles in one day.
Q: Any fun(ny) eOne memories that first come to mind?
When I’m at eOne it’s strictly business.
My twin brother is a programmer at eOne. So I get to work with him and with some other very technically competent people. I get to work with code all day and solve technical challenges. To me it’s been nothing but fun.
Q: What TV show are you binge watching/watched most recently?
I like to watch anything in Spanish. That way I can tell myself I’m learning Spanish instead of watching TV.
